A summer music festival at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park
Shakedown Street

Food, craft, & specialty vendors.

What would an event at Nelson Ledges be without a walk down Shakedown Street? For many guests, the vendor village is part of the tradition.

Our vendor village

Welcome to Shakedown Street.

For many guests, the vendor village is part of the tradition. It's where art is discovered, handmade pieces find new homes, and longtime favorites reconnect year after year. Nelson Ledges Quarry Park proudly hosts a diverse mix of food, merchandise, and specialty vendors — including several who have been with us for over a decade and are truly part of the NLQP family.

We curate Shakedown Street intentionally to maintain quality, variety, and flow. Each vendor plays a role in creating the experience.

Food & merchandise vending

What we're looking for.

We welcome new vendors who bring originality, professionalism, and strong presentation. To protect vendor success and maintain product diversity, we limit overlapping specialties — only one vendor per primary specialty category is permitted unless otherwise determined by management.

Think handmade goods, small-batch apparel, jewelry and leather, artisan glass, smoke-shop specialty items, festival-friendly food trucks, and the kind of kitchen you'd travel for. If your booth has a story behind it, we want to hear it.

All vendors must be reviewed and approved prior to acceptance. Submission of an application does not guarantee placement.

Booth size & layout

Standard spaces.

All approved vendors are provided a designated vending space within Shakedown Street. Spaces are assigned by management to maintain proper flow, safety, and category balance.

Who vends here

A mix you won't find anywhere else.

Shakedown Street is part farmer's market, part craft fair, part kitchen crawl. Some vendors have been rolling in since the 1990s — they know the regulars, the regulars know them, and the whole thing runs on decades of goodwill.

New vendors round out the mix each season. The bar for entry is simple: make the thing yourself, present it well, and bring something Shakedown Street doesn't already have. Curation protects everyone — the vendor next to you, and the guest walking the row.

If you've applied in a past year and weren't placed, that's not a permanent no. Category slots open up season to season; re-applying is encouraged.

Before you apply

What to have ready.

  • A clear product or menu description. Photos of your booth in past operation go a long way.
  • Booth dimensions — all of them. Tent footprint, trailer length, awning spread, service window side, and any signage that extends past the 10′ × 20′ standard lot.
  • Power requirements. Total amp draw, generator model if you're bringing your own, and whether you need park hookup.
  • Certifications & insurance. Food vendors: health department permit and liability coverage. Merchandise vendors: proof of liability insurance.
  • Which festivals you're interested in. Some weekends fill faster than others — list your top three.
